The Donald’s greatest con of all time is underway and it’s the American citizens that are getting screwed. Ted Cruz is eligible, but Republican candidates led by Trump want it be a clouded issue rather than bringing out the truth.
What Americans MUST understand is that there are only a handful of people who can make the truth known. Those people happen to be his competitors for the Republican nomination and none of them want the truth to come out. They are in stronger positions without the truth. They are willfully deceiving every American by not doing the one thing that could resolve the issue: suing Ted Cruz.
One must be “adverse” to another in order to sue them. Since the only people who stand to gain from a court ruling on his eligibility are the other candidates, every other American’s hands are tied. Not President Obama, nor other politicians, nor Ted Cruz himself can get closure on this issue. The way that our system is set up, the only way that someone is allowed to prove that they’re eligible to be President is if one of their competitors takes them to federal court.
IF they truly believed that he wasn’t eligible to be President, they would sue. Rand Paul, Carly Fiorina, or any of the other lower candidates would benefit greatly by proving Cruz ineligible. Either Marco Rubio or Donald Trump would benefit the most with Rubio getting the anti-Trump voters supporting Cruz and Trump picking up voters who like what he and Cruz are saying about immigration.
This is a direct attack by all of the other candidates against the truth. They will hide the truth for as long as possible to deceive Americans. This is the dirtiest of dirty politics and the “outside” candidate, Donald Trump, is playing his political Pied Piper role with precision. The last thing he wants is for the American people to know the truth.
The reason that they won’t sue is that they would lose. In fact, suing and having it declared that he’s eligible would be enough to push Cruz to the nomination in a landslide. Cruz can do nothing about it unless his competitors act. They won’t. They prefer voters to stay in the dark.
If fairness was truly important to Trump, he’d do the right thing and sue Ted Cruz. He only believes in people treating him fairly. He doesn’t believe in being fair to the American people. He’s counting on voters being stupid.
