Saudis to Head UN Human Rights Panel as the World Turns Upside Down

We were told these days were coming. Isaiah the Prophet spoke of them. Jesus described what was going to happen in the Book of Matthew. The world is turning upside down and the United Nations seems content to participate in making it happen.

It’s no surprise that the news is only now coming out about their actions in June. Faisal bin Hassan Trad, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador at the UN in Geneva, was elected as chair of a panel of independent experts on the UN Human Rights Council a few months ago. This role is one of great influence in the URC, giving Trad the power to select applicants to act as experts in human rights roles around the world.

The despicable irony is that Saudi Arabia is in the upper echelon when it comes to human rights violations. The story of Ali Mohammed al-Nimr is enough to make anyone sick.

Then, there’s the story of Raif Badawi, a man who is at the center of the insanity that exists in Saudi Arabia.

Their complete disregard for anything or anyone that is not beneficial to the elite ruling class is a narcissism-based corruption. As countries go, they don’t deserve to be in the United Nations nor should they be our allies. Unfortunately, they control the ebb and flow of oil around the world. More importantly, they are the force that maintains the petrodollar concept keeping the United States and the rest of the world afloat in an impossible economic situation.

Hillary Clinton Saudi Arabia

That’s an entire other article. For now, the focus must be on this appointment. It’s like putting a criminal in charge of selecting members of the parole board. It makes absolutely, positively no sense. Of course, it’s expected.

Isaiah 5:20

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

This is evil being called good. This is a slap in the face to all who have been persecuted, wrongly jailed, falsely accused, and heinously murdered for going against the regime. We new it would come. We were warned.

This time, we’ll look to the New Testament.

Matthew 24:12

And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

Yes, evil is clearly abound. The media knows and doesn’t (or can’t) care. The government is very aware but they’re willing to sweep it under the rug to nurture the status quo of feigned economic security. The problem is that this isn’t the status quo. Things are getting worse.

Thankfully, we can and should rejoice. The presence of such blatant evil is a great sign for those who long for the next Kingdom.
