Mark 15:39 – Truly this man was the Son of God

Mark 15:39

And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

We are blessed to have the Bible and the Gospels within. They give us all of the accounts of the past that we need to know in order to be what we must be today. In those days, they weren’t as lucky. They didn’t have very clear instructions other than those who chose to follow Jesus during His travels. The centurion, upon seeing all that happened when Jesus died, realized what had been done. We do not know if he repented, but we know for sure that he regretted his actions.
