Hebrews 10:25 – exhorting one another

Hebrews 10:25

Hebrews 10:25

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

This entire chapter is both extremely simple while being complex at the same time. There is nothing we can do that can gain us forgiveness of sin other than believing on Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. That part is clear in the early parts of the chapter. Where it gets more complicated is in understanding the need to continue in love and good works with each other as Christians. This may be a call to work closely together, whether through the traditional church body or through other forms of assembly. It may also be a call to harken to the Words of God more feverishly as the end nears, knowing that we are called to help point as many as possible to the Light.
