This isn’t the same story being repeated over and over again. These are fresh stories of Christian persecution at the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood operating in the guise the Free Syrian Army to take down the government and exterminate non-Muslims in the war-torn country.
The worst part is that the Obama Administration isn’t trying to stop them. He’s supporting them.
The latest round comes as three Christian men in the village of Maaloula were executed for not converting to Islam. Meanwhile, 12 nuns were kidnapped. The things that are likely being done to them are likely more hideous than the murder of the three men.
This is not just a civil war. With money, arms, and soldiers being reportedly funneled in from Saudi Arabia and Turkey in an attempt to cut off Iran’s strongest ally, the stakes are high and the consequences are acceptable to many Muslim countries in the area. This is no longer a fight to help the people of Syria enjoy more freedoms under new leadership. This is now an international play that is pointed directly at weakening Iran and increasing the power of the Muslim Brotherhood.
According to WND:
International Christian Union President Joseph Hakim said the rebels forced their way into a monastery to take the nuns hostage. He blames the Muslim Brotherhood.
“The Free Syrian Army is powerless,” he said, noting the Muslim Brotherhood is starting to take a leading role.
“They’ve used the honest Syrian people who really want democratic rule and used them to open the door,” Hakim said.
