If you believe in God scientists claim they have a cure! An experiment on how the brain resolves abstract ideological problems can be altered by magnetic waves, or more precisely transcranial magnetic stimulation. TMS is primarily used to treat depression as it targets the area of the brain that controls one’s mood.
Participants in the experiment were chosen for their faith and their attitude towards immigrants. After TMS was performed however, nearly one-third had a reduced belief in God and over one-fourth were more accepting of immigrants.

Interesting how the scientists chose immigration and faith. Even more interesting is how turning part of the brain off makes one more inclined to the liberal agenda. Who knew?
