Ronald Reagan on Government Spending

Ronald Reagan on Government Spending

There’s a simple truth to Ronald Reagan’s words. On the surface, it’s as straightforward as can be. If you think about it a bit more deeply and consider the opposite concept, could it be the key to saving the country’s and world’s finances? What I mean is this: if governments will spend whatever they get, could they also learn to not spend what they don’t get?

Think of it like this. If a government were to take on truly conservative values of cutting taxes and simultaneously cutting spending, would thing get better? The answer is very much hidden in gray area since “better” is relative and somewhat ambiguous. We believe that it’s a clear certainty as long as both the reduced taxes and reduced spending were done properly, but it’s the veil in the gray area that prevents liberals from seeing the truth.
