For years, I’ve always claimed that the best strategic decision that progressives made decades ago was to build a long-term gameplan by focusing their indoctrination techniques in schools. The earlier they could get to the kids, the easier it would be to manipulate them into believing liberalism is correct. This couldn’t be more clear than what is happening in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where “America Day” was canceled to not offend the sensibilities of those students that don’t consider themselves to be Americans.
You can’t make this stuff up.
“Many different students could have felt singled out,” Activities Director Mike Hansen said. “We’re trying to be inclusive and safe, make everyone feel welcome.”
Welcome where? Welcome in America? Apparently, this isn’t America anymore. Patriotic Americans of any race or religion should be able to be patriotic Americans. If legal immigrants come to America, they should do so with the knowledge that they are becoming Americans. If they do not “identify” with being an American, that’s fine. Nobody’s forcing them to participate. However, they benefit from American freedoms, American taxpayer programs, and the nationalism that used to come with being an American. The politically correct education system is tearing this down.

There was a time when it was okay to be a proud American. Progressives aren’t just trying to take away the feeling of pride. They’re trying to take away what it means to be American in the first place.
