What is Gay Marriage Bigotry?

There are bigots in the world. In fact, there are probably more of them than we could possibly know. Most simply do not publicly discuss their perceptions in a way that could get them painted as bigots. As with most things, bigotry tends to go both ways. Today’s hot topic of gay marriage is a perfect example.

The topic is not a simple one. While it would seem based upon the polls by liberal media outlets that gay marriage is gaining a majority support in America, that doesn’t mean that there’s no room for discussion. Very fundamental concepts should be addressed, but they are being stifled by a resonance in the air that calls any opposition to gay marriage bad, labeling every dissenting voice discriminatory, hateful, and bigoted.

You probably won’t hear the other side of the coin. In the comic below by Adam4d,  a picture is perfectly painted that reflects the modern “discussion” regarding the legality and religious aspects of gay marriage in America.
