We all know that we are supposed to be thankful of God for our blessings, but few take it all the way to the point that they acknowledge the Father for all things, not just our obvious blessings. Every breath we take is a gift from God. Every time we make a decision that turns out to be good, it was God who gave us the information we needed to come to that conclusion. Even when something happens that seems to be bad, it is a gift, a tribulation through which our Father is allowing us to be tested.
When you can understand that all things happen by the Grace of God, He will direct more of your life in ways that will bring you closer to the light. God Bless.
