For generations, Christmas have been viewed as a Christian holiday. The reality is that it’s not. This is undisputed by scholars. It’s well known by pastors. However, it has been “adopted” into Christianity based upon the concept that Christ has claimed it for use as a time when Christians can express their hearts. This couldn’t be further from the truth.
In lieu of adding to the debate with our own perspectives, we turn to a pair of teachings that go into better detail about how Christmas was brought into Christian traditions from pagan sources and why this is important to all believers.
