Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.Matthew 5:16
The light of God shines through us. Those who are in the Spirit and do the works by following our Lord and Savior become a vessel through which our Father’s light will shine. It is just another example of points in scripture that point to works. No, works will not bring salvation, but is is through our works that our faith is shown.
