Trump invokes faith in interview

While Ted Cruz pushes for more evangelical Christians to get out to vote, Donald Trump is trying to get in on some of the action. In an interview on Friday, the GOP presidential candidate said that he’s a big believer in the Bible.

The current frontrunner said that he’s opposed to society changing greetings such as “Merry Christmas” to “Happy Holidays” and other politically correct phrases. His newly found faith seems to go contrary to many of his actions and claims, including a recent admission that he doesn’t remember the last time he apologized.

According to The Hill:

“I’m not sure the number of times going to church,” the GOP presidential candidate told host Cliff Sims on Alabama’s “Yellowhammer Radio.”
