Justice group makes plea to President Obama to help Christians persecuted by ISIS

The kidnapping, slavery, rape, and murder that the Islamic State perpetrates on Christians they find in the Middle East have prompted the American Center for Law and Justice to ask US President Barack Obama to intervene. Their request is more of a desperate plea than anything else as the atrocities at the hands of ISIS continue to escalate unchecked.

With over 110,000 signatures  as of August 22, 2015, on their online petition, the call to “Stop ISIS’s Genocide of Christians” is very loud and very clear:

Stop funding jihadist nations and start aiding persecuted Christians. Support our allies in the fight against ISIS before more Christians are beheaded and exterminated.

Other than military airstrikes that seem to be having no effect and military consultants who have been training an unmotivated group of local fighters, the administration has failed to address the growing force that the President called “the JV team” last year. Today, nobody believes that the terrorist group is just a ragtag bunch of misfits. Their weapons are effective, their tactics are working, and their reach is expanding exponentially.

According to Breitbart:

The organization reminds the administration that ISIS is “beheading, raping, and selling Christians” and that hundreds of thousands of Christians have been forced to flee or die. But while ISIS tracks down Christians for sale and slaughter, the Obama Administration and other Western leaders stand by idle.
