Clinton Invokes Power Over NY Times Even Before She Wins Her Presidency

If Hillary Clinton can bully the NY Times into changing stories about her now, what will happen if she wins the nomination or even the Presidency? State-run media is already a problem in America today. If Clinton gets the office that she feels entitled to, we should expect further quashing of dissenting views by journalists.

The story in question first put the inquiry and potential wrongdoings on Clinton herself. After her campaign got a hold of the journalists involved, it was edited to have all inquiries and accusations tied to the email account itself. This might seem like a minor distinction (who operated the email account if not her?) but its intention is to keep her direct name out of the spotlight. Unfortunately, it isn’t working; even left-leaning Politico is crying foul about the Clinton team and the NY Times for this clear manipulation of a news story to do less damage to the candidate herself.

According to Politico:

The Times’ report also includes the following error: It states that a hearing in Washington about the State Department’s refusal to respond to Freedom of Information Act requests had taken place on Monday. That hearing took place last week.
