Yeshua talked of being “born again” in faith, a concept that was hard for the people at the time to understand and arguably more difficult to understand today. So many people are seeking a tangible change in their lives and can be discouraged when they don’t “feel” it. Others are turning to the spiritual concepts that actually go against the teaching of the Bible and focus on an awakening within that does not focus on Yeshua as the center of their lives.
In both cases, the problem is that our flawed human minds are overthinking it. We can be born again by doing just as the verse says, being in Christ. We need Him and He loves us. The two are ideas are not in conflict. We make it challenging by following the ways of the world and listening to the deceptions and temptations that attack us constantly.
