The refugee situation in Europe is growing to catastrophic levels and migrants, the vast majority of them young men, are flooding countries across the continent. Germany is the primary recipient and is facing a tremendous backlash from its citizens. Number one on their list is Chancellor Angela Merkel who is being accused of treason through hundreds of letters calling for an investigation of her attack on the German constitution.

According to the claims, she is defying the constitution and putting the German people at risk with whimsical policy regarding refugees. With so many of the refugees not fitting the “acceptable” narrative of downtrodden families broken up by war but rather seeming to be able-bodied young men bent on expanding the reach of Islam, the petitioners may have a point. Unfortunately, it’s a catch-22 for Merkel and other European leaders because there are definitely those in dire need. The problem is that there are those with different needs that are taking advantage of the situation and bullying their way into the countries.
