Romans 5:8 – ‘while we were yet sinners’

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:8 (KJV)

Is it harder to die for a cause or to allow someone you love to die for a cause? It’s a question that few of us ever ask. It’s a question for which the answer is beyond most of our comprehension. When we look at the suffering that Yeshua went through, the question suddenly becomes impossible for us to ever be able to comprehend from our own Father and His Son, our Lord and Savior.

This is what true love is about. Anything we can feel pales by comparison.
