The pay is awful. By that, I mean it’s nonexistent. There’s no tangible return other than seeing your name and content on a modestly visited social media blog. If that sounds awesome, we’re looking for you.
We accept unique, well-written, relevant posts. It should pertain to social media, internet marketing, or something related. There are no word limits, but don’t make it too short. With that said, don’t fill it with fluff, either.
If you get your feelings hurt easily, this isn’t for you. I give blatant feedback on posts. If you’re impatient, this isn’t for you. I take way too much time to get around to reviewing posts. If you’re looking for massive exposure, this isn’t for you. We get thousands of visitors a day, not tens or hundreds of thousands of visitors. Ever since Digg died, I could count on two hands the number of days we broke 5-digits in traffic.
If none of this scares you, if you love social media, and if you can put sentences together in a manner that is entertaining and educational, this might be for you. I also edit Techi.com, a tech blog, so if you have something that can fit in there as well, I’d love to see it.
Please send you posts in MS Word process to my the email address listed on the Contact JD Rucker page in the navigation above. If you have images picked out, please do not put them into the document. Upload them to Imgur.com and include the links in the the document where you’d want them to appear in the post. The featured image must be 600 px wide for Soshable and over 700 px wide for Techi.
Please include a bio. Be sure that the email address from which you send the post has a profile picture attached to it through Gravatar.com.
